“Regenerative development is the process of harmonizing human activities with the continuing evolution of life on our planet–a process that also develops our own potential as humans. As an approach in practice, it seeks to enable human communities to come back into life-giving alignment with the natural living systems that support them.

As a starting place, regenerative development begins with the premise that human beings and human activities have the potential to nourish and support the myriad ecological systems that they touch–and that realizing this potential is a pathway to restoring the health and abundance of human cultures and economies. In order to make this a reality, we must commit ourselves to a process of inquiring into and deeply honoring the unique socio-ecological identities of our places.

While regenerative development needs to happen all over the planet, the complex interface between human systems and natural systems must be studied, understood and navigated uniquely in each unique place. This means there can be no template or set of best practices for regenerative work. Instead, practitioners from a broad range of different disciplines and community sectors must come together to engage in deep and sustained co-learning, inquiring together into how to practice the art of regeneration in that place.”

Um grupo de nós (Claudian, Diogo, Ivan, Marco, Paulo, Sandra + Nuno, Constança que estavam do lado de quem segura o espaço; a que se juntaram a Sónia, Rita, Angela, entre outros) concluíram este fim de semana o Curso de Desenvolvimento Regenerativo da https://regenerat.es/ - uma maratona de cerca de 5 meses. Aprendemos a fazer novas perguntas:

Qual o potencial de estarmos juntos no I4F ?
Que objectivos regenerativos oriental a nossa acção no I4F ?
Qual a direção que queremos seguir com o I4F ?
Quais os instrumentos que são necessários no I4F ?

Faço a proposta que alguns de nós venham partilhar as vossas histórias: como foi a vossa experiência com o curso de desenvolvimento regenerativo ? qual a importância para o I4F ?
Para mim foi profunda a transformação e reforçou a importância deste modelo - Desenvolvimento Regenerativo - em conjunto com o Possibility Management e a Teoria U, como modelos chave no caminhar/ experimentar a 'Nova Cultura', para mim regenerativa integrada na Vida e nos seus ciclos, baseada em circulo, sem lideres, suportada por equipas que co-criam, segura o espaço para o desconhecido ('aprender com o futuro que querer emergir' como diz o Otto), formada por adultos iniciados, homens e mulheres, em colaboração. Trago novos mapas e transformei-me como ser humano, no sentido de ser humilde quando 'desenho'

A group of us (Claudian, Diogo, Ivan, Marco, Paulo, Sandra + Nuno, Constança who were on the side of holding the space; and Sónia, Rita, Angela, among others) concluded this weekend the https://regenerat.es/ Regenerative Development Course - a marathon of about 5 months. We learned to ask new questions:

What is the potential of being together at I4F?
What are the regenerative goals that iluminate  actions in the I4F?
Which direction do we want to go with the I4F?
What instruments are needed in the I4F?

I propose that some of you come to share your stories: how was your experience with the regenerative development course? what is the importance for the I4F?
For me, the transformation was profound and reinforced the importance of this model - Regenerative Development - together with Possibility Management and Theory U, as key models in walking / experiencing the 'New Culture', for me, a regenerative culture, that is integrated in Life and its cycles , based on circle, without leaders, supported by teams that co-create, holds the space for the unknown ('learn from the future that want to emerge' as Otto says), formed by initiated adults, men and women, in collaboration. I bring new maps and I transformed myself as a human being, in the sense of being humble when 'designing'
