 Sou a Xana, a trabalhar com Sociocracia 3.0 há cerca de 6 anos em Portugal com minha amiga/colega Maria Rute Costa, e estamos dedicadas à aplicação desta ferramenta no contexto da Auto-organização local de grupos e iniciativas para conseguirmos scale up projectos regenerativos de acordo com princípios e padrões da S3. Como transformar a atual crise em oportunidade e dar resposta alinhadas com uma colaboração genuína e profunda.

Simultaneamente sou co-proprietária de uma floresta de 36h no sudoeste algarvio onde vivemos e estamos a tentar criar modos de vida regenerativos e formas de “walk the walk”, encontrando a habitual dificuldade de financiar este estilo de vida (estamos a produzir bastante comida nas nossas hortas, a vender lo mercado bio de Lagos e a regenerar a paisagem)especialmente nesta altura onde maior parte do nosso trabalho e income fora da terra desapareceu e pode não voltar.

Estou muito interessada em sinergias que nos ajudem a encontrar forma viáveis de continuar a ser o exemplo, visto que o ponto mais fraco é sempre a capacidade de encontrar fundos e apoios para continuarmos de forma saudável a fazer este trabalho, que consideramos crucial nos tempos de hoje.

Acredito no potencial desta rede, deixo aqui está semente.

 I was very fortunate to grow up with a lot of greenery around me, in contact with nature and its living creatures. I was not aware what impact this would have on my life. 

When I was 20 and studying t university I walked by a whole block next to the university that was filled with rows of vegetables being grown. I enquired within and they told me that they were students growing vegetables organically and giving the food to the soup kitchens in the area for people who could not afford food. I joined in and found out that I absolutely loved to have my hands in the ground and to grow things organically. I was not aware how important this would be for the well-being of my life.

Some years ago a very sad set of events upturned my life and I found myself leaving everything i thought I was for something new. This journey brought me to Portugal and to want to introduce mindfulness, socio-emotional learning, and contemplation into schools as a way to better prepare a next generation for its encounters with the world.

Today I am part of a movement to create the Foundation Terra Agora. The idea behind the foundation is to be able to free land by owning it through an entity committed to never selling it again. Next to this initial concept is the idea of being collectively guardians of nature and not its owners or usurpers. So the question arises how we can regenerate the land we are privileged to have access to. The question also arises how we can set an example of a new way to relate to land, not by owning it but by taking care of it. We are a few weeks away from launching the foundation (I believe) but already it is having an impact on our lives.

More and more I believe that to make this world a better place, we need to shift our values. I am trying to do this by giving greater value to conservation and restoration of nature; honouring the one thing that sustains me in this life above all else. I pray that others are coming also to this sense and that together we make work to bring a sense of the sacred to nature.

Our efforts now our focused on getting the foundation to be a reality, on finding funding for the guardians that will take care of the land and funding to buy additional land. We are also keen to build an eco-system that gives the outmost support to these guardians in their quest to regenerate and to honour mother nature.

 O colectivo Cura da Floresta divide-se em diferentes núcleos. A mim calhou-me a pasta da comunicação, organização e de tudo um pouco... Assim que falarei na 1ª pessoa.

Agradeço imenso esta e as tuas partilhas no geral. Sinto-me grata por pertencer, de certa forma, à tua comunidade.

Sou a Raquel, vegetariana há cerca de 11 anos, principalmente por ser incapaz de caçar qualquer animal e por acreditar que este hábito pode mudar significativamente os hábitos de consumo do humano ocidental. Consumo alguns produtos de origem animal, como queijo, iogurte e muito raramente ovos. Alimentos sempre orgânicos, plantados por mim, companheiro e filhos e outros comprados às Cooperativas locais (Minga e Freixo do Meio).

Sou mãe da Maya e do Benjamim e mulher do Bernardo. Vivemos no meio do Bosque na Herdade do Freixo do Meio e aprendo todos os dias com os seres que aqui habitam. O Benjamim continua comigo em casa por ainda ter 2 anos. A Maya está na escola da freguesia e adora. É uma escola rural, que apesar de tradicional é bastante receptiva às ideias dos familiares. Sou representante da Associação de Pais da escola da minha filha e estou em conjunto com outras mães e pais a criar uma comunidade de aprendizagem em Montemor-o-Novo com a visão e apoio do Professor José Pacheco. Acredito que o ensino deve ser acessível a todos e que a luta deve ser essencialmente feita nas escolas públicas. As escolas actuais ainda seguem o modelo do século XIX e devem ser desmilitarizadas e apoiar a diversidade dos alunos e o trabalho árduo dos professores. Neste momento o centro está no professor. Nas escolas Waldorf e Montessori o centro está na criança. Acredito que no futuro o centro estará na relação de ambos.

Em relação aos projectos... Sou refém da pandemia. Sou professora de Yoga e não aderi às aulas online. Dedico a minha vida a cuidar das crianças, do lar e da horta. E dedico também o meu tempo ao Colectivo Cura da Floresta organizando vivências que pretendem aproximar o ser humano da Teia da Vida. Para além disto estamos a desenvolver um viveiro agroflorestal, do qual sou uma mera aprendiz.

Ainda não me consegui desligar das redes. É a minha cruz. Mas ainda não consegui encontrar outra forma para divulgar o trabalho da Healing Forest Portugal. Talvez quando já tivermos uma mailing list estável possamos dar esse grande passo.

I really appreciate this and your shares in general. I feel grateful to belong, in a way, to your community.

I am Raquel, a vegetarian for about 11 years, mainly because I am incapable of hunting any animal and because I believe that this habit can significantly change the consumption habits of Western humans. I consume some animal products such as cheese, yogurt and very rarely eggs. Always organic food, planted by me, my partner and children and others bought from the local Cooperatives (Minga and Freixo do Meio).

I am the mother of Maya and Benjamin and the wife of Bernardo. We live in the middle of the woods at Herdade do Freixo do Meio and I learn every day from the beings that live here. Benjamin is still with me at home because he is still 2 years old. Maya is at the parish school and loves it. It is a rural school, which despite being traditional is quite receptive to the ideas of family members. I am a representative of the Parents Association of my daughter's school and I am together with other mothers and fathers to create a learning community in Montemor-o-Novo with the vision and support of Professor José Pacheco. I believe that education must be accessible to all and that the struggle must essentially be carried out in public schools. Today's schools still follow the 19th century model and must be demilitarized and support student diversity and the hard work of teachers. Right now the center is in the teacher. In Waldorf and Montessori schools the center is on the child. I believe that in the future the center will be in the relationship of both.

Regarding the projects... I am hostage to the pandemic. I'm a Yoga teacher and I didn't join online classes. I dedicate my life to taking care of the children, the home and the garden. I also dedicate my time to Colectivo Cura da Floresta, organizing experiences that aim to bring human beings closer to the Web of Life. In addition to this, we are developing an agroforestry nursery, of which I am a mere apprentice.

I still haven't been able to disconnect from the networks. It's my cross. But I still couldn't find another way to publicize the work of Healing Forest Portugal. Maybe when we already have a stable mailing list we can take this big step.

 À entrada de 2022, partilho convosco a história de como estou a viver a próxima cultura, a minha história.

Sigo uma alimentação 100% vegetal, biológica e o mais local que consiga porque, na minha forma de ver, é o comportamento que mais impacto tem nas alterações climáticas, na qualidade dos solos, na saúde humana, na crueldade para com a Vida e na economia local. Só coloco no corpo (cosméticos)  o que posso comer. E tratei de limpar a minha casa de tudo o que é tóxico, em particular na cozinha.

No meu vestuário utilizo as minhas peças até ao fim. Compro em segunda mão ou procuro marcas éticas.

Procuro que os meus actos de consumo sejam conscientes e que os meus recursos sirvam para empoderar e financiar outros projectos e pessoas, que como eu, estão a co-criar a próxima cultura. O ponto a trabalhar é com os meus filhos onde ainda não consigo aplicar estes princípios, bem como a escola, que é privada e ancorada na cultura patriarcal. Quero sair dos gameworld dos bancos e sistema financeiro e estou a promover as diligências para ver se acontece em 2022.

Não estou em redes sociais pois não quero patrocinar, com a minha utilização a segunda geração (a web 2.0) da internet e as suas disfunções (e.g. capitalismo de vigilância, empresas-estado). Quero apoiar os movimentos das tecnologias éticas e da web 3.0, peer-to-peer. Uso o Telegram e o google - estou a programar para deixar de usar o google durante 2022.

Medito - sigo a tradição do Heartfulness, pratico Yoga, Chi Chung e 5 ritmos (esporádico - gostava de tornar mais regular) e o meu caminho de evolução é feito utilizando o Possibility Management, nos LABS - estou a fazer o meu ritual de iniciação à vida adulta (1 ETB + 10 LABS) e o meu caminho para trainer.

Em termos familiares, a minha constelação familiar sou eu e os meus 3 filhos, que ficam comigo semana sim, semana não - a minha vontade seria de fazer parenting nesting e a mãe dos meus filhos não está disponível. Vivo na zona de Alfragide, em casa alugada, por ficar perto da escola das crianças (com forte redução da pegada ecológica) e me permitir flexibilidade, caso a escola mude, por exemplo. O meu irmão vive perto, em casa própria, com a sua família; a minha mãe vive sozinha em Setúbal, sendo um apoio muito importante para a minha célula familiar. As relações são boas, muito assentes no corpo intelectual e físico (e.g. refeições em comum). Na minha família de origem não se fala de corpo emocional e energético. Um caminho a percorrer nos próximos anos. Estou a ressignificar todas as datas importantes como aniversários, Natal, Páscoa, entre outros, não olhando para o que a cultura me propõem, mas antes, como me faz sentido e quero vivê-los. A relação com a minha família de origem e com a mãe dos filhos são os pontos de evolução.

Na entrada deste ano de 2022, vejo-me envolvido em alguns gameworlds que estão muito alinhados com a minha forma de ver o Mundo (e a próxima cultura) e que são baseados em responsabilidade radical (e.g. possibility management, teoria U, teoria integral) e em desenvolvimento regenerativo.

Espaço de relação e trabalho (destino em acção) extraordinário com a Joana Cruz, onde levamos as distinções do Possibility Management as pessoas, as equipas, aos projectos para empoderar, transformar e evoluir. Estamos a co-criar a comunidade de PM em Portugal e a unir a comunidade - talvez evoluir para uma Comunidade de Prática (CoP).

Espaço de relação extraordinário com a Joana Matias onde desenhamos experiências que desafiam as nossas caixas e exploramos o que significa uma relação entre duas pessoas, saindo dos constructos que a nossa cultura e educação nos transmitiu. O que significa para mim estar em relação ? Qual a relação que melhor me serve ? Como transcender as dinâmicas de gênero ? É um espaço de experimentação e crescimento, onde colocamos em acção as distinções do Possibility Management - ambos estamos a seguir este caminho.

Faço parte de uma equipa, Pinha do Agora, que está a co-criar uma ecoaldeia para 5 a 10 famílias, baseado nas distinções do Possibility Managemente do Desenvolvimento Regenerativo e numa educação alternativa para as nossas crianças. Somos 5, Gil Penha-Lopes, Joana Cruz, Marco de Abreu, Matteo Tangi e Patrícia Bastos. Todos temos ETB e LAB. Dois de nós fizeram o curso de desenvolvimento regenerativo da regenerat.es, eu incluído. Estou a co-criar o local onde vou viver e trabalhar; a minha família de morte.

Faço parte de uma outra equipa, a do projecto para uma fundação, Terra Agora. Somos 4: Claudian Dobos, Ivan Sellers, Filipa Simões, Marco de Abreu. Temos todos ETB, 3 de nós LABS.  3 de nós fizeram o curso do desenvolvimento regenerativo da regenerat.es, eu incluído. Este projecto visa acabar com a 'escravatura' da Terra pelo Homem (ou a ilusão dela) - Como pode um ser vivo, humano ou não, achar que pode ser dono da terra ? De 'donos' para 'guardiões', i.e., participantes conscientes da vida na Terra.

Faço parte da equipa que sonha e dá vida ao Innovations for the Future. Somos uma rede, uma comunidade, um movimento de projectos e gameworld builders que sonham com uma próxima cultura. Neste equipa alguns de nós tem ETB e LABS, outros desenvolvimento regenerativo, muitos teoria U, alguns teoria integral, e muito mais ferramentas e métodos que podemos por ao serviço desta comunidade. Um dos desafios deste projecto são os fluxos monetários, o dinheiro. É também um fractal na dimensão pessoal da minha vida. Como fazer esta energia funcionar na próxima cultura ?

As 2022 enters, I share with you the story of how I am living the next culture, my story.

I follow a 100% vegetable, organic diet and as local as I can, because, in my view, it is the behavior that has the most impact on climate change, soil quality, human health, cruelty to Life and local economy. I only put in my body (cosmetics) what I can eat. And I tried to clean my house of everything that is toxic, particularly in the kitchen.

In my clothing, I use my pieces until the end. I buy second hand or I look for ethical brands.

I try to make my consumption actions aware and that my resources serve to empower and finance other projects and people, who, like me, are co-creating a next culture. The point to work is my children where I still can't apply these principles, as the school is private and anchored in the patriarchal culture. I want to get out of the gameworld of banks and the financial system and I'm promoting the demarches to see if it happens in 2022.

I'm not on social networks because I don't want to sponsor, with my use of the second generation (web 2.0) of the internet and its dysfunctions (e.g. surveillance capitalism, company-state like facebook). I want to support the Ethical Technologies and Web 3.0 movements, peer-to-peer. I use Telegram and google - I'm programming to stop using google during 2022.

I meditate - I follow the tradition of Heartfulness, I practice Yoga, Chi Chung and 5 rhythms (sporadic - I'd like to make it more regular) and my evolution path is made using Possibility Management, at LABS - I'm doing my initiation ritual to adulthood (1 ETB + 10 LABS) and my path to be a trainer.

In terms of family, my family constellation is me and my 3 children, who stay with me every other week - my wish would be to do ‘parenting nesting’ and the mother of my children is not available. I live in the Alfragide area, in a rented house, because it is close to the children's school (with a strong reduction in the ecological footprint) and allows me flexibility, if the school changes, for example. My brother lives close, in his own home with his family; my mother lives alone in Setúbal, being a very important support for my family cell. Relationships are good, very much based on the intellectual and physical body (for example, meals in common). In my family of origin, there is no mention of the emotional and energetic body. A way to go in the coming years. I'm reframing all the important dates like birthdays, Christmas, Easter, among others, not looking at what the culture proposes to me, but rather, how it makes sense to me and I want to live them. The relationship with my family of origin and with the mother of the children are the points of evolution.

In this year's entry (2022), I find myself in some gameworlds that are pretty wiped out with my way of looking at the World and that are based on radical responsibility (e.g. possibility management, U-theory, integral theory) and regenerative development.

Extraordinary relationship and work space (destiny in action) with Joana Cruz, where we take the distinctions of Possibility Management to people, teams, to projects to empower, transform and evolve. We are co-creating the PM community in Portugal and a community - perhaps evolving into a Community of Practice (CoP).

Space for an extraordinary relationship with Joana Matias where we design experiences that challenge like our boxes and explore what a relationship between two people means, leaving behind the constructs that our culture and education have transmitted to us. What does it mean to me to be in relationship? Which relationship suits me best? How to transcend as gender dynamics? It's a space for experimentation and growth, where we put the distinctions of Possibility Management into action - we're both following this path.

I am part of a team, Pinha do Agora, which is co-creating an ecovillage for 5 to 10 families, based on the distinctions of Possibility Management and Regenerative Development and an alternative education for our children. We are 5, Gil Penha-Lopes, Joana Cruz, Marco de Abreu, Matteo Tangi and Patrícia Bastos. We all have ETB and LAB. 2 of us took the regenerative development course at https://regenerat.es/, myself included. This is where I want to co-create the place where I will live and work; my family where I died.

I am part of another team, the project for a foundation, Terra Agora. We are 4: Claudian Dobos, Ivan Sellers, Filipa Simões, Marco de Abreu. We all have ETB, 3 of us LABS. 3 of us took the regenerative development course at https://regenerat.es/, myself included. This project aims to end the 'slavery' of the Earth by Man (or the illusion of it) - How can a living being, human or not, think that he can own the earth? From 'owners' to 'guardians', that is, conscious participants in life on Earth.

I am part of the team that dreams and gives life to Innovations for the Future. We are a network, a community, a movement of projects and gameworld builders who dream of a next culture. In this team some of us have ETB and LABS, others regenerative development, many U theory, some integral theory, and many more tools and methods that we can put to the service of this community. One of the challenges of this project is money flows, money. It's also a fractal in the personal dimension of my life. How to make this energy work in the next culture?

It's a case of saying big steps for me, small steps for all of us.
